What if a girl never gets her period?

Lots of girls worry that it will never happen for them, but it almost always does. A girl's first period usually arrives about 2 years after she starts developing breasts. See the doctor if you are 14 and have seen no breast development or other signs of puberty. A girl also should see the doctor if she's 16, has had some body changes, but still hasn't had her first period.
